In my Social Studies class today, I learned about Cultural Contact. In Cultural Contact, we talked about the Beothuk, Hunters Of the Plains, and the Iroqouis. These three native tribes are forced away from their land by the Europeans. By this, the natives' traditional ways could no longer be sustained. These are pretty much the most interesting thing I learned in class recently. Also, I have experienced globalization in a technological way by using the Internet and the T.V.
2.) Reflection
In my class, what I want to work on is my writing. I want it to be clearer than just plain or when I hurry up writing it becomes messed up. I just want it to become perfect so I don't get messed up writing and people won't understand it when they read it. If I can do this then, I can write a more clearer homework, essay, or project. I also want to work on my knowledge in Social Studies so I can understand more on it. So that means study it more so I can understand it a lot more better.
3.) Assignment

This kind of globalization reminds me of how the Europeans forced the natives out of their land and got their land and annihilated them. This picture shows that the land was taken from them and they made a city out of the land that was taken. I notice that the man over there is sad to take away the land but he was forced to do it I guess. I also see that in this picture they are trying to hide the houses. When I see this I feel like they are hiding the cultures that they annihilated underground and it feels so sad.
